Making people and ideas findable

Angel Morales

Web Content developer / Marketing Assistant - advance your career

Thoughts I would re-post this role with a little more color.

What job would allow you to work from home, provide you the inside track to establish relationships with global thought leaders in the online marketing space, give you access to amazing training, and a great paycheck?

I am currently the VP of Marketing for Rising Media - a company you probably haven't heard of despite our 10 years developing and executing some of the biggest marketing events globally - including;

Danny Sullivan's SMX Conference on Search Marketing
Jim Sterne's eMetrics Marketing Optimization Summit
Internet World
and several other new events

We are currently hiring a full time team member to "own" our websites and aid with with marketing efforts. From the website side of the fence, you will be responsible for managing the event websites - this goes beyond content to helping us design and execute our community/social strategies, media strategies, and more.

From a marketing standpoint, you are going to help me execute on both basic and bleeding edge strategies (that we are sharing with the world). Everything that we do from an innovation standpoint is public...presented at our conferences. This means not only are your building your brand with the thoughts leaders who present at our events, but wih vendors who's technology we use and show attendees.

Day-to-day, you will be working with your team members to manage our websites. This includes keeping content current, launching new websites for our new/next events, building emails, optimizing landing pages, and working with presenters for content. You will also influence our overall community/social efforts - really anything that lives on-line you will have a voice in shaping the strategy.
