Job Responsibilities Include:
■Administration, monitoring and troubleshooting of all versions of Windows Server
■Maintains workstations and network applications
■Assists with the acquisition, installation and maintenance of the Agency's network hardware/software
■Manages network operations to include: troubleshooting connectivity problems; installing and maintaining routers; adding/terminating users; assigning rights and access; resetting passwords; establishing e-mail addresses; assessing and reporting operational status; and performing backups and restores
■Conducts technology orientation for all staff; prepares technology and systems for new and existing staff
■Performs routine preventive maintenance on hardware and software
■Responsible for troubleshooting workstations, networks, software applications, phones (ShoreTel), copiers and other technologies
■Ensures networks, workstations, operating systems and software applications are operational
■Ensures hardware and software is patched and/or updated
■Ensures for the availability, continuity and security of data and information pertaining to the Agency
■Assists with preparing and maintaining a technology disaster plan
■Assists in other duties as needed and directed
Requirements :
■2+ years work experience in information technology
■Experience with Microsoft Server, Juniper routers, SQL and ShoreTel telecom is preferred
■Must possess outstanding communication skills, both oral and written
■Must have ability to interact with people in positive, upbeat manner
■Must have ability to meet short deadlines
■Must be able to work longer than a usual work day (8hrs.)
■Demonstrated ability to multi-task various operations
■Demonstrated organizational skills
■Ability to establish rapport quickly and with ease
■Bachelors degree preferred
