Smaller Indiana

Making people and ideas findable

I recently joined this social networking site, and I saw nothing but infinite possibilities.

Now, I feel like it is as stuffy, click-y and unorginal as much of Indiana it self.

Share your views and experiences with Smaller Indiana...please.

Too liberal? You must be joking.

Interesting. I always thought of SI as leaning a bit too far to the right, but that's just from my POV.

You seem edgy..... here an edgy gift for you from Indiana. Smiles, Michelle. Comments welcome.

Thanks? haha.

I don't know if I am edgy or not, but I will take that as a compliment.

Ahh, I see Michelle, posting the really good emotive images over here instead of in the photography group. :o)

Really an awesome image, but. I have refrained previously, the watermark is really distracting to me. Dropping the opacity some should increase the visual balance and interest too.

off topic, but David makes a good point.

in this digital age, you can remove a watermark to easily too.
they are practically obsolete. (if you are doing them for copyright protection, not promotion)

I do see your point.... don't know why I put them there... always do before uploading or printing.. What you see here is my final print. But.... I can for this photo, fade it out a bit.... This photo was a gift to Matthew.. I like his edge.... I thought he might like what image came to my mind when I read his thread.. I don't have to put my name on at all... But, I always just always signed my work. I will play around with it.. a bit! ;-)

I'll go off topic in this one...did anyone else see the moon last night around 8:00pm? It was HUGE and low in the eastern sky. Almost crashed several times as I drove home as my eyes tried to remain fixed upon it. So cool

ya! briefly.

isn't some sort of illusion where the atmosphere acts as a lens and makes the moon look larger.
i dont know what it is called, i am no astronomy scholar...but, i think that is what causes it.

I saw it, too. It was especially cool when a random long thin cloud was in front of it. @Matthttp://bit.ly/9seeF Here is an explanation. =)

I saw it too driving home from Geist. Wanted to turn around and go take a picture, but only
had my pocket Nikon with me. Called some friends to look though.

I've taken a few good moon photos with my D40, even got the last clear eclipse when the moon
was red. But I really think I need a longer lens! Maybe for Christmas.....
