Making people and ideas findable

In an article in the Energy Times, Deepak Chopra states that our life expectancy possibly can go to 120 years. Should it? Who would pay for the health care? How will folks this age have enough money to live on? What would society be like with a large population of folks who are ages 85 and up? Would you even want to live that long?

Working til your 100? Hell, I was figuring more like 135 which means I need to try to live til 145 to enjoy some of it. Ha!

Thanks for the congrats on the bday! As my father and step-mother so gracefully pointed out in my b-day card, I'm on the freight train to 40. Grrreeeeeat. LOL

You're right, by 2050 we are going to be so overwhelmingly connected it's going to be hard to fathom that we use to type emails, fax things or had to turn on a computer to get online. Imagine the possibilities.... wow......

Absolutely I would love to live this long...there are cultures of people on our planet right now whom are living to these old ages - and they live very quality lives - having babies at 100 years of age, retaining all of the real teeth, no cancers, no heart diseases, no diabetes, no altheimers...to name a few. If you are living to 120 not confined to a nursing home, at 80, you were doing better than most Americans at age 40! Health Care? These people don't have health care - they prevent diseases by doing the right things - they don't overeat, they are physically active all day long, they have close families (support and love), and they enjoy life.

clarification on 'having babies at 100 years' I meant to say - men are still fathering babies at 100.
