Making people and ideas findable

I love natural health techniques. I am not perfect from eating whole foods all the time or getting a workout everyday. I do stretch, lift, cardio and go to my chiroprator. I use natural herbs and see doctors who practice natural medicine. I saw this item on a website I visit for news. This Neti Pot is to be used to help with sinus allergies and people who are in high pollution areas.

Any natural medicine people out there have used this? Here is the link.

The Neti pot has been around for an eon at least. It was recommended to me after round three of a sinus infection (and the resulting antibiotics and problems associated with THAT) sent me to the Wild Oats supplement aisle. I asked if there was a natural remedy (i.e. herbal supplement in pill form) that would help alleviate the sinus problems I had been having. Instead, the kind woman recommended the Neti and practically insisted I try it. She promised me it would help. I thought it was a disgusting concept but I was desperate for relief. I tried it and felt better almost immediately. I used it twice a day until I was all clear, and did not have to have another round of antibiotics. Now I use it whenever I feel a mild sore throat or a stuffy nose, and haven't been on an antibiotic since. It is a truly wonderful thing.

I have never used it, but I have heard several people just foam at the mouth about the effectiveness of the neti pot. Kind of like a tea pot for the schnozz--weird looking, but some say it works miracles.

Safe, very effective, it's been used for generations. The otolaryngologists (ear nose throat guys) we work with recommend it frequently. And for those whose voices are giving out on them early in the morning during allergy seasons or seasonal change, we recommend using a facial steamer in the morning (also available at drug stores) and of course an abundance of water and other non-caffeinated liquids.
