Responsibilities:
Directs web design and new media efforts of corporate web sites, HTML emails, and interactive web-based applications. Oversees web design and digital video production from conception through testing and production with cross-functional teams. Responsible for budgets and timelines.

Utilizes new media and web design principles to support process improvement to reduce direct costs, increases revenue and market share. Responsible for establishing new media strategic planning and directing/implementing state of the art web design standards. Apply creativity and consistency in manner that strengthens the brand and end-user experience

Responsible for tracking and analyzing user trends and implementing new design features based on metrics.

Create and implement standards for visual design and web UI programming. Likewise influence external entities to follow standards for web on online efforts where appropriate. Possess the combination of strong hands-on new media design and technical skills to create compelling online experiences.

Works directly with director of creative services and VP of marketing, Director of interactive marketing, web application developers, and web content manager to ensure that web sites and software applications are consistent with branding objectives. Provide oversight and web design direction for freelancers and 3rd parties with responsibilities in user interface, digital video production and social media tools. Responsible for the overall look and feel of the brand's online presence. Individual must thrive in a fast paced environment and the rapidly changing web design and new media development.

Develops and executes visual design for interactive media projects such as video, broadcast, Web, CD, DVD, Animation, and Streaming offering our clients full Creative, Development, Pre-Production, Editing, FX, and Post Production. This position serves as the creative lead for electronic branding strategies to integrate technology and clients’ business requirements into design, user interface, marketing, and aesthetic interests. Responsible for the conception, development of web based creative. Additionally, this position is responsible for the cohesive and consistent look and feel of projects.

Directs production efforts for the video recording and editing of events for streaming via the Web. Responsible for creation of virtual tours using QTVR, Flash, and other interactive applications. Knowledge of basic photography is necessary. Designs and develops user interface features, site animation, and special effects elements. Responsible for selection and implementation of streaming technology architectures such as QuickTime, RealVideo, and Windows Media. Develops interactive applications with Flash and ASP. Requires understanding of web based technologies and thorough knowledge of HTML code, browsers, ASP, CSS, VBScript, JavaScript, object oriented technology, video compression technology, streaming media architecture and/or other design related or new media applications. Has a formal understanding of compression/decompression schemas as relevant to Web based technology.
