Making people and ideas findable

I am coordinating several spring educational events for public health professionals and am in need of a few good speakers. These offerings are hosted by the IU School of Medicine Department of Public Health Office of Public Health Practice (formerly MAPHTC).

Here are the topics I need covered:

Marketing on a Shoestring Budget--April 7 from 10:30-noon at IUPUI. (concurrent session at a large conference)

How to Deal with Difficulty People--April 8 from 10:30-noon at IUPUI. (concurrent session at a large conference)

Key Markers of Success in Public Health--April 8 from 1:15-2:30 pm at IUPUI (concurrent session at a large conference)

Time Management--March 10 from 8:00-9:30 am at 714 N. Senate (live and webstreamed)

Basics of Human Resources--May 20 from 9:00-Noon at 714 N. Senate (live)

Of course, I have very little money...I can pay for travel expenses and will take care of any photocopying.

Interested? Leave me a message on SI, call me at 274-3178, or email me directly at katlnich@iupui.edu. You can also visit our website, www.publichealthconnect.org, for more information on the Office of Public Health Practice.

Thank you!

Lorraine Ball would be perfect for the first one since she teaches that at Rainmakers University.

I bet if you stopped by a BPE meeting you would have all of your speaker roles filled.

BPE? I'm not sure what that is, could you help? Thanks!

Business and Professional Exchange - it is a networking group for job seekers. Anyway, we have several people in HR that have some time and would really like the exposure. I can put you in touch with them if you still need someone. I can be reached at lbegnel@gmail.com. BPE can be found BPEindy.org.

IYI used Sue Hershkowitz-Coore for a "difficult people" session at our most recent conference. She was well-reviewed.

Find her www.speakersue.com

good luck!

I will think about it. I just did a talk on "The Challenge of work life balance in 2009" for the Association of Legal Administrators of Indiana. It had some elements of time management, but it was not strictly time management. Would that work?

Can I forward this request to a friend of mine outside SI that might be of help to you?

Sure! Thanks!

Kate: I can give a talk/workshop for either the Difficult People or the Time Management. I would want to talk to you about it more to really understand the audience and what they are facing so that I can tailor it for them. Let me know if you need me for either of those.

I would love to do the April 7th Marketing on a Shoestring Budget... would coordinate great with my new book:
"Give Your Dog A Treat" Customer Loyalty the Key to Profit Growth...
Mining your customer base is the lowest cost way to gain great leads, referrals, repeat business and much less cost than traditional prospecting.

purchase a few of my books and do not pay me anything to speak that day
