Smaller Indiana

Making people and ideas findable

My summer has been spent studying, traveling, and working with as much mountain bike riding stuffed in the cracks as absolutely possible . I suspect I spend more time in higher education and study than I ever did in school and truthfully, this is education I am hungry for.

So, in pursuit of my education I listened to a conference call the other day with Jack Canfield. What fabulous information he shared. It was so good it bears repeating and sharing with you all. Jack said something that I have heard before but now it makes sense in a whole new way. The quality of your life is determined by the quality of the questions you ask. So instead of asking, 'why didn't I get that promotion?' or 'why don't I get lucky like Joe ? (insert the name of your relevant friend and/or colleges) ask new questions. Consider asking, 'why do I deserve love?' or 'why will I get the next promotion?' or 'why am I cool like Joe?'

Your brain is designed to answer what ever questions you pose to it. Want better answers, want better ideas? Ask better questions. Your brain will answer, it will find answers for you... find the good ones.

Oh and one more thing... check out Tut.com and sign up for the daily emails, they are short, funny and definitely inspirational.
