Making people and ideas findable

We rarely talk sports here on SI, but the Colts game last night was so thrilling we just had to offer a place for folks to chat about it.

There are so many great things to discuss, and we'd love to hear everyone's stories, but to get things started, let's simply ask this:

Did you go to bed before the end? Let us know if you lost hope, or if you remained confident that the Colts would win...and why :-)

Have fun! If you want to go even deeper with Colts, check out the fan community at mycolts.net

I'm not the biggets Colts fan in the world, not being from Indiana, but I was with a true Colts fan and she was certainly not going to let me go to bed with a perfect season on the line. So we were up till the nail-biting end, and while she was on the edge of her seat I lay slouched back into the couch awaiting the inevitable... A Colts touchdown and the big win for the home team.

I enjoy watching closely competitive football, and having a great team around to watch is awesome. The Colts are sometimes boring to watch because its almost assumed that they are going to win, but this game was certainly a down-to-the-wire, no holds barred cage match between two heavyweights and it was a great game to last 15 seconds. Congrats to the Colts and all their fans!

Wide awake and hoping for what eventually happened!

Absolutely. I learned after watching Ball State come back from a 13 point deficit with 2 minutes to go, in the cold rain, to never ever shut off a game.

Plus, I never go to bed before 12:00, so I was up anyway.

Yes, I was awake. While I did watch the game, it doesn't really matter if I was awake or not.

We were up the entire time and watched till the very end. Never lost hope that the COLTS could pull us through. Many years of football watching teach you that the game can change on a dime and when the match up is the Colts and the Patriots it's a given that the game isn't over until it's over.

I went to bed with 10 mins left but couldn't sleep because I felt guilty. I decided to watch becasue I've got to take my lumps along with all of the good things Manning has done.

PRAISE JESUS it turned out better than what I was convinced would happen. I was jumping up and down and it ranks up there with Reggie Miller's point flurry to beat the Knicks in 95 (?) as far as all-time great Indy sports moments. Beats AFC championship game and Superbowl win as far as actual game script.

I will say this - I listen to Bob Lamey on and off for every game and that man has become impossible to listen to. He was downright apocolyptic in Q2. When we were WINNING the SF game, you would have thought we would lose if we didn't have a 10 point lead. Love the man for past seasons, not this season!

A few around us in Section 447 left early but my wife and I DID NOT!!! REAL colts fans have faith in our team, it's leaders and the organization! We even drove an hour home and watched press-conference coverage. Play-offs?! Are you Kidding me???! Play-offs...!

Awake! I do have to admit that late in the 3rd quarter I was getting discouraged so I went and found my Colts jersey, put it on and was thrilled when we won! You just never know with the Colts so I have learned to hang on till that last buzzer sounds.

How's this for a dedicated fan:
My husband had to 'tape' the game...too nervous to watch it live.
I made him check at about an hour into the game...the Pats were ahead.
He went to bed with the uneasiness of this modest lead...awoke to this glorious victory!
