Making people and ideas findable

Have you wanted to learn how to blog? Would you like to know how to use blogging to build visibility and business? I am teaching a class through Rainmaker Universitycalled Grow Your Business By Blogging. Through this course you will learn:

• Blogging Basics
• How strategic blogging to grow your business is different than just blogging about the 'random.'
• How to bring traffic to your blog
• What is the difference between a blog and a newsletter? When should one or the other be used?
• How to write authentically - why hard selling doesn't work
• How to create expert and trusted adviser status within your industry
• Mistakes to avoid - learn from some of the mistakes of others and what not to repeat

Please spread the word! I love to teach about blogging and I love it when people get involved in the blogging world! Dip your feet into the Internet world and increase brand awareness and your business! You can check out my blog at KyleLacy.com.

The class is only $25 for Rainmakers members and $75 for non-members. It will be held at Fishers Office Suites (116th Street and I-69) from 12:30-2:00pm on Wednesday 10/15. For more info or to sign up, follow this link: http://www.acteva.com/booking.cfm?bevaid=166616

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

3. Events should be posted in the events calendar

4. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

5. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.

6. Smaller Indiana is supported by its members, and by corporate sponsors. If you're interested in learning more about sponsorship, please call Pat Coyle at 317 332 7878.
