Event Description

Some of Bollywood’s Biggest Stars to Visit and Perform in Indianapolis

The Next Level Bollywood Show will bring more than a dozen of India’s biggest celebrities to Indianapolis, and offer males and females an opportunity to perform with them.

Indianapolis was chosen as the first of just three tour stops for the Next Level Bollywood Show, a variety show that parades some of India’s biggest talents including award-winning actors and actresses, singers, dancers, comedians, magicians and more. The Indianapolis Convention Center will be home to the show, which takes place at 8 p.m. on July 3, 2009.

Ambassadors for Children, a registered not-for-profit organization, has been selected to assist with auditioning males and females between the ages of 14 to 25 to perform on stage during the production.

“In the style of Slumdog Millionaire, we will be auditioning males and females to perform to the song Jai Ho. Twenty people will be selected to be on stage that night, performing the Jai Ho dance with the Bollywood Stars – in front of thousands of people.” Says David Gorsage, CEO of Ambassadors for Children, “It’s a really neat, once in a lifetime opportunity! We are very excited that they have chosen to come to Indianapolis – a city that we feel will embrace this event.”

Those who are interested in auditioning to participate in the Jai Ho dance scene must pre-register online at www.nextlevelbollywoodaudition.com. The auditions take place on July 3, 2009, at 1 p.m. The first 200 people to register to audition will receive one complimentary ticket to the Next Level Bollywood Show in Indianapolis on July 3, 2009. The audition fee is $99 per person. The proceeds will be donated to Ambassadors for Children.

Bollywood celebrities who will be taking the stage during the Next Level Bollywood Show include actress Amisha Amit Paztel, actor Gulshan Grover, comedian Sudesh Lehri, Indian Idol singer Deepali Kishore, singer Toshi Sabri, actor Tushar Kapoor, Krishna and many more! Tickets to the show can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or the Indianapolis Convention Center Box Office.

The Next Level Bollywood Show is produced by R.J. Entertainers (http://rjentertainers.com). Following the Indianapolis show, the Next Level Bollywood Show will move on to New York’s Nassau Coliseum on July 10, 2009, and New Jersey’s Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on July 11, 2009. Proceeds from the Next Level Bollywood Shows are being donated to the Angel Foundation Global World (http://www.angelfoundationglobal.com) an organization whose focus is to build centers to eradicate female foeticide, and help women who are victims of human trafficking, domestic abuse and similar crimes.

Ambassadors for Children, based in Indianapolis, is a global charitable organization that develops social leaders through service to children and their communities by facilitating interactive service and unique, guided tours. Ambassadors for Children is a registered not-for-profit organization. For more information, go to http://ambassadorsforchildren.org.
