Event Description

Dear Very Important Morgan County Residents and Interested Parties,

I am extending this invitation to you to join us in the first official group planning session of the Mooresville Community Day. For more info about the event, please go to www.morgancountycommunity.com. The event itself will take place Saturday, July 12, 2008 from 1-5 p.m. in Uptown Mooresville.

Citizens Bank has been very generous in allowing us to utilize their parking lot. The Bloodmobile will be present to allow donors to donate blood and save lives. (Thanks Dave Nash!) We are encouraging all non-profits, youth, businesses, and MoCo (Morgan County) residents to join us at the event in efforts to revitalize and unite our community and be a great resource for our youth to occupy for a very long time to come.

All proceeds are going to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Morgan County. Silent auction items, prizes, and event planning expertise are needed to make this a great success!

It is so important to have each one of you supporting us to help lay the groundwork for many, many more community events to come. We are very excited about what this could do for all of us.

If you know of anyone at all that would be interested in any way in volunteering, participating, sponsoring, donating, or anything else that you can think of, please send them my way.

I look very forward to meeting with this fabulous group that I know is interested in the best for our entire community's future.

Please drop me an email and let me know if you will or will not be attending the June 2 meeting, as I may need to request a larger room at the library!

Thanks so much!

Sincerely,

Nicki Laycoax

Help

A few things to consider before joining Smaller Indiana:
1. We want to know the real you...Please use your real name (first and last) when you sign up, or we cannot open your account

2. We want to know the real you...Please do NOT use your Smaller Indiana blog for blatant self promotion

3. We want to see your smiling face...Please do not use logos or commercial images for your profile photo

4. Events should be posted in the events calendar, not inside blog posts

5. Please do NOT post commercial video (demo reels), or Corporate Website promotions in your blog

6. You can post pretty much anything you want on your own personal page (self promotion, etc), and you can change the style of your personal profile page to reflect your corporate identification if you so choose.

7. Please keep all comments civil and polite. It's OK to feel strongly about a subject, and it's OK to be critical of ideas, but please refrain from personal attacks of any kind.

If you witness or experience any issues, please contact admin@smallerindiana.com and we will look into the matter.

8. Smaller Indiana is supported by its members, and by corporate sponsors. If you're interested in learning more about sponsorship, please call Pat Coyle at 317 332 7878.
